I nice introductory guide for shooting DSLR video. I wouldn't say there is a lot in here for a semi professional, or someone who aleady knows what they are doing, but I did learn a number of things and was glad I got it. If you are a amateur or total beginner, then this is a excellent read.
If you want to know the basics about shooting HD video using your DSLR that is written in a clear, concise manner, then this book is perfect. Sheppard writes well and knows his stuff. A good read with lots of useful information, especially for the price.
I;m a DSLR purist, but my D800 does have the HD video feature so I figured why not. I t wasn't that expensive. Even with then less then my stellar information on HD video, my camera manual offered more pertinent detail then this "book"
