photicular is such an amazing art . He just need's to get another book out there. Keep up the great work.

This book is absolutely AMAZING! As you turn the pages the pictures "come to life" as if you are watching a short video!Normally when I purchase a gift on Amazon I just have them wrap it and send the gift directly to the person, but as a Christmas present I bought a few of these "Photicular" books and wanted to wrap them myself..I was simply amazed when I looked through it! Even my Husband had to come over and see for himself.Not only would I recommend these as a gift, I would suggest having them be delivered to you first so you can enjoy them before you give them away! 😍

 I bought this for my 2-year-old niece, and she squealed delightedly with every page turn (see video). This was the most passed around and asked about Christmas present, including by my grandpa, because he wants the full series to show and share with his friends in his retirement community. The level of information is a bit much for toddlers to grasp, but you can still do rough estimates of how many toddlers tall and heavy each animal is and practice animal noises and identification with little ones until they can comprehend the more advanced words. Probably best to have adult supervision to prevent little fingers from picking apart the thicker pages.

Received my Safari Photicular book quickly and I totally love it! In fact, not only am I fascinated with it, my husband and four year old grandson love it too. It feels like you're actually watching the animals run in the wild. I wish I could afford to actually see them in the wild, but for now Nat Geo and books like this fill the void. The book gives a quick blurb about the animal's size, habitat, diet, and population status and has a great feel and vintage look to it. The only complaint I have (reason for 4 stars) is that a proceed of the purchase does not go to help protect these beautiful animals. I just find that I'm much more aware these days of the purchases I make and whether or not they contribute to a greater good. That doesn't take away from the beauty of the book though. I'm pretty sure anyone you purchase this for would be fascinated with it and love it.

I am a school bus driver. One of my students brought this book on the bus and showed it to me. I fell in love with it!!!! My granddaughter loves to read, and loves animals. So, I bought all three books for her birthday. She loves them!!!! They look so real!!!!! I would recommend these 3 books to anyone who has kids/grandkids who love to read, and loves animals.

The coolest book you will ever see. Definitely a coffee table book that will wow everyone. It looks beautiful, antique like on the surface, very classy. Then whe you open it and see the optical illusion of the movement of the animals, it's so very cool. I saw this at someone's house & just had to purchase one for myself. It also has very interesting facts about the animals on the page. I would recommend this to anyone. Don't let the price put you off, it's very well constructed.

Bought this book for my 18-month-old niece and it's a great book. A tad bit on the expensive side given that there is less than 10 pages. But the effects on the book is wondrous. I, myself, was mesmerized when I first looked at this book the first day I got it.Probably would not buy anything like this again since it is a bit too expensive for me.

My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES this book. It has thick pages he can't rip, it has animals he recognizes and he can make them move easily. It has information about each animal which he may not care much about now, but I know this book will be on his shelf for years to come as it is sturdy and he will eventually be more interested in the detailed information about each animal. Worth the price and cheaper than many other stores I have found this book in.

An amazing, ingenious creation! Each page of this book comes alive with motion - like a paper video player - with an engaging animated clip of an animal in motion. What a wonderful way to learn about nature, or just to have a fun experience up close and personal with the great beasts of Africa. Already bought 2 copies as gifts for my daughter's friends, and watched many delighted reactions as grown-ups admire the copy I have on my desk at work. It's really "next-generation book," a little treasure for anyone who loves optical wonders and smart art.

The first chapter had some pretty interesting statistics-- $4.6 Billion is spent driving traffic to websites where the conversion is only 2.85% of the traffic converts. What an eye opening look at how we are selling our customers the wrong way.I'm halfway through and already completely changing the way I think about the way we use websites in the world today and how outdated lead forms are.

business books are not usually what i reach for, but i've been trying to turn over a new leaf. my mentor recommended this to me so i figured i'd give it a shot. was really impressed and makes me excited to be working in marketing. the whole argument for conversational marketing just made complete sense to me, makes me wonder why i hadn't really thought of it that way before. and the authors seem really smart and cool too, like the kind of guys you could grab a beer with. overall recommend it, and will be on the look out for more from these guys/their company Drift.

Drift has been leading the charge with a new way to get marketing done for anyone in the B2B space. This is basically the guidebook on how to start adding conversation into your marketing toolbox.I enjoyed how practical the book was - this wasn't a philosophical handwaving book - this was directly enabling to get up and tune our conversational marketing team.

absolutely loved how the book went over examples of how companies that adapted became the "winners" of the market while those that didn't eventually died out. conversational marketing is all over linkedin nowadays, and this is a great book to summarize exactly what this buzzword means.if you work in b2b this is a MUST-read, because the insights and examples provided are priceless! david cancel and dave gerhardt have done an incredible job with this book.

This book has already been so helpful for me in my day to day at a tech startup. It's really interesting to an inside look at the minds behind Drift and their technology. I particularly found the last section of the book "After the Sale" valuable. It's always good to continue the conversation with your customers and David Cancel and Dave Gerhardt layout great tips on how to keep that relationship conversational. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone in the B2B tech space!

Wow, great read. Eye opening. These guys get it. We're no longer living in a marketing world where incremental improvements to your conversion rate should be top of mind. Instead, Drift is pitching getting back to conversations between buyers and sellers, making buying easier and putting the customer first. And clearly it's working for them. Get this book!

David Cancel and Dave Gerhardt really understand the way in which business buy from other business, and how its evolving. Their explanation of how in the internet age buyers have more power than sellers really resonated. I learned so much about how to shift my perception of how to reach my prospects--both the timing and the channel. The time is NOW and the channel is Conversational Marketing!

I had no idea how sophisticated I could get with Conversational Marketing until I read Chapter 9: Filter out the Noise and Target Your Best Leads.In this chapter you review how to go from basic Welcome Messages to highly targeted messages depending on lots of things: website visitor behavior, location, or behavioral segments. This chapter literally blew my mind.Don't feel like you need to read the entire book if you know the basics, but hone in on this chapter (page 123) if you want to take it to the next level.

Molly can't understand for the life of her how these two ended up on the streets—but if you are familiar with the Molly Murphy mystery series you know she won't leave the situation alone, even though her husband Daniel, a newly-minted, unbribable police captain, warns her that they may be part of a confidence ring.While the usual Molly regulars appear, including Daniel's imperious mother and Molly's loving but eccentric neighbors Sid and Gus, Bowen has done this one one better by writing it in the plot fashion of a Victorian Christmas melodrama, with the primary characters, two well-bred children of evident aristocratic heritage, immediately in place. So don't be surprised when some of the villains of the piece appear Dickensian or sound like they come from a 1900 novel (this means you can pick out one of the bad guys just by how that person is described), all wrapped up in modern sensibility. Just sit back and enjoy the Victorian machinations and the evocative descriptions of Christmas in New York at the turn of the last century: slippery sidewalks, crossing sweepers, the new technology of mechanical figures in store Christmas display windows, mistletoe, buying a fresh Christmas tree from a streetcorner vendor, hot chestnuts, cold sleet, home-baked Christmas goodies (even from Sid and Gus!), charity, and a character losing hope...And of course there's the usual massive coincidence as well. Never mind: it's all about family and finding a home and making happiness out of the small things. This one has jingle bells upon it.

Life is treating Molly (Murphy) Sullivan pretty well: she and Daniel and young Liam have moved back into their house (rebuilt after the Mafia fire bombed it). Moreover, Daniel has had a quiet run in his police detective job, and Molly is imagining a wonderful family Christmas.But when she, Liam, and young Bridie go shopping they are halted by a beautiful voice singing hymns. When they stop. They find a very young girl whose clothing do little to protect her from the freeing weather. When they talk to her, offering money and a promise to return the next day with Bridie’s old clothing, they are startled to hear her speak to them in an upper-class English accent. When Molly hears her story, she is captured by her tale: dead father, mother who has brought them to the US, believing that something good awaits them. But then their mother disappeared, leaving them in a run down house, overseen by two cruel adults.So now Molly has two jobs—prepare for Christmas, find the children’s mother, and get the house ready for her mother-in-law. Then a constable runs up to their house and says that Daniel has been shot. So Molly goes to work. This is a worthy addition to this series. I particularly enjoy the way that the major characters evolve, learning from their actions. I read this in three days, and it would have been faster if I’d had my way.

Over the years I've become less enamored of Rhys Bowen's Molly Murphy series. The heroine has become less realistic in my view, and in this novel her behavior is so irresponsible that I wanted to slap her. I could barely bring my self to finish the novel. For example at the beginning of the novel Molly finds herself in a part of town with a high incidence of pickpockets. Despite her years as a detective and resident of New York City including some of the least savory neighborhoods, she seems to be clueless about the risk. That last statement could apply to her general behavior throughout the story. She shows a bizarre lack of street smarts and recklessness that could jeopardize her life and her child's, not to mention her mother-in-law's favor and approval (which she has worked very hard to earn over the course of this series). Having blessed her heroine with a child, the author now faces the dilemma of how to create a plausible detective story for the heroine which can give her the freedom to sleuth unimpeded while still satisfying the requirements of the era that she be a good mother. This story is not an example of a successful solution to the problem.I still greatly enjoy the Royal Spyness series and look forward to each new installment. But I'm am done with the Molly Murphy series for now.

A lovely Christmas mystery for Molly. As she and Bridie are walking down the street a small girl is singing Away in a Manger beautifully, touched Bridie undertakes her own little Christmas mission. Soon Molly discovers that the girl has an older brother and that they are living with a nasty woman they call aunt and that their mother has been missing since spring. Of course Molly seeks to find out what is going on. Daniel has reservations, but Sid and Gus are soon in on the mission. Finding their identity is only half the battle as getting them back to their rightful places leads Molly into much more dangerous waters than she had imagined. Very Christmas in New York theme so we get visits to FAO Schwartz and windows at Macy's plus Molly trying to get her Christmas chores in while tracking down her mystery.

This is a new volume in the life of Molly Murphy, and her husband, baby, mother-in-law and friends. The plot is well drawn and the new characters are appealing and sometime difficult and sometimes evil.It resolves her long held angst with her mother-in-law, it sets up new conflict with her NYPD Captain husbands role with the department and Tammany Hall and it gets two little waif angels re-united with their family. All of this done dashing around NYC and Long Island faster than Santa's sleigh. And, did I say it was at Christmas too.

I bought this book brand new because it is supposed to have an access card to the online labs inside it. There is no card inside and the online labs are VERY crucial to the class. I will have to send the book back and get a new one and I only have a matter of a couple days before my class starts.

As a psychology major, had to order this book for an intro class and I must this provides a wonderful introduction to all basic topics of social psychology. It doesn't breeze over them either, it actually talks in an intellectual way in detail about each. You walk away from reading this with enough of an understanding to have a basic psychlogical conversation and with the hunger for more. I liked hte way the book was divided up becuase it worked in a very logical progression.

This text is very well written and keeps my attention (most of the time) while reading information that might otherwise seem a little dry. The author sometimes throws in witty comments, or lame puns to keep the reader engaged. It usually works and will get a chuckle out of me or a groan, depending on how dry the joke was. I'm not sure if this was the author's intention, but it does help bring a human aspect to scientific words being thrown around and digested.I enjoy Psychology, so I really enjoyed reading my assignments in this book. There are plenty of pictures, graphs, and side notes that help to further your knowledge about what you are reading. The vocab words with definitions are in the side bar of the pages upon which they appear in the text; I found this to be very helpful when I was running short on time and unable to read the text word for word. The summary pages at the end of each chapter were also a huge help with reviewing the chapter. Great textbook for the class!

In all honesty, this book is entirely full of relative and current up to date information. Most college students will need this book if taking on any general or introductory level psychology courses and can learn a great deal by sitting down and understanding a single chapter to its full extent. This book not only has detailed explanations on famous studies and Psychologists but also has text that is easy to understand and interpret from the readers perspective. I would absolutely recommend this book as well if considering a psychology major/minor due to how much knowledge David G. Meyers offers in a single field of study (as stated above in previouse statements).

Out of all my textbooks for university, this is one of three that I actually refused to sell back because I wanted to keep it. I have reread parts of it for fun and I often use it to explain things to my younger sisters. This book also helped me explain very sensitive subjects, such as cutting and anorexia, to the parents of younger family members who were struggling with these disorders. This book should not be used to replace a therapist or psychologist, but it does help you realize when you need to contact one. It helped me pass my class and assist some struggling family members, so this book was well worth the price. It also explained complex subjects at a level that was easy to understand.

For one who didn't get around to taking psychology in college, I realized that a lot of marketing and copywriting take advantage of how people make decisions and evaluate things. I got this monster and went through it. I learned what psychology is about, the multiple disciplines it involves. Great intro book.

I bought to use this upcoming year homeschooling my 9th grader. I haven't had a chance to read all of it yet, but I am halfway through with it -- so far, it is good. I think he will learn a lot and stay interested.

I love this book. I use it at the beginning of every month to help meal plan for the month. Not only are the recipes affordable, but they are also somewhat simple to make. It was the perfect cookbook for a young bride to use! The tips and information at the beginning of the book are also fantastic.

I originally checked this book out at the Public Library. After making a few things in the book, I decided that I should buy it. I love this book, and 99% of the 100 that I've tried with my family are really good. I've been cooking out of this book for my family for over a year now, and we are still trying new things, and loving it! I'm not much of a Bargain Shopper, and I don't do Cupons. This book doesn't necessarily work on the $5 or less if you're not that type of shopper.... however.... we have saved money by planning our meals as the book suggests a week at a time. And really, the food is delish!

I really like this cookbook because the recipes are good and don't take a lot of ingredients you probably don't have at home. While I can not usually produce the meals as inexpensively as she says you can, it is still worth purchasing.

Book arrived timely, and was exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

I love this cookbook. It is definitely one of my go-to cookbooks I own. I have used the homemade bread recipes multiple times and everyone has loved them.

Great ideas for budget cooking.. although not $5 dinners anymore - I think $10 or under... good ideas.
