I did not think that this book was detailed enough to ensure that you would achieve a good result. It contained a lot of information,quotes from celebrities and other famous persons,for example,that were a waste of book space. I would have preferred to have purchased a book that presented haircut techniques on a more detailed and serious level.
Useless weird flip style book. Just buy a Creaclip and use that. No book needed. These techniques are basic but not for the faint of heart.
It's okay - crea-clip is best thing to use when cutting own hair.
Please do not waste you money on this book. It is awful. I should have listened to the other reviews. It does not help at all in cutting hair. No clear cut instructions. One is pull your hair up in a pong tail and cut.Please do not waste your money.
This book wasn't what I expected but it is good for learning to cut your hair or anyone flaws. I dont know what I expected. Its decent though. It stand up on its own do you can see the book while you cut

I purchased this book to give me a guide while I was deployed and nowhere near a stylist. I have cut my daughters' hair before, but never my own. I was looking for something that would give me (and my willing friends) tips on how to cut my hair with some success.This book is quite frankly, ridiculous. The directions for a layered haircut are to put your hair in a ponytail on the top of your head and cut. The directions for a short haircut are to put your hair in a ponytail at the back of your head and cut. (When the results are illustrated, it's easy to show excellent results.)Don't waste your money on this book.
